You move 50 tons remotely. The battery transfer car works flawlessly

You can start it up as easily as a TV. The new transfer car from our workroom runs non-stop, yet only needs to be charged once a week.

The original railcar was faulty and difficult to control.

We commonly supply transfer cars in many different designs. We most often create transport platforms running on rails, but we have also developed our own type of travel wheels, the so-called DASblok. Thanks to our experience, we can design and manufacture a solution that is not only fully functional, meeting even very demanding technical requirements, but also compact and smartly controlled. This is exactly what the battery-powered transfer car that we supplied to the car body manufacturer is like.

The battery-powered transfer car already excels in 3-shift operation

The truck serves as a transfer platform, the so-called die transfer platform, between the individual bays of the hall, which is longitudinally divided into production sections with overhead cranes. The platform transports the dies in the transverse direction between the cranes and the service center, where the dies are maintained. The platform operator places the die on the platform using a binder and a crane operator and, using remote control, transports the load under the overhead crane. Our solution is a crucial part of the entire production process. It is the only way to transport dies.

Although the vehicle is designed for heavy loads, we have managed to achieve compact dimensions. This makes transportation safe and easy to see. We have cleverly placed all the key elements, such as drives, batteries, switchgear or cable management, in the vehicle structure. Information about the vehicle status, such as preparation for travel, travel, charge status, error or warning, is provided using light signals. There are flashing lights in the corners of the vehicle and information lights at the front and rear, which shine in front of and behind the vehicle, marking the driving corridor. They let any pedestrians ahead know about the vehicle's movement.

When designing the car, we paid attention to comfortable operation

The retractable batteries and electrical switchboard automatically lock in their end positions. The charge status or battery status and usage history is displayed on the vehicle display. The batteries also have a central water refilling system. Lifting lugs are located at the front and rear of the vehicle during use and can be used for emergency towing.

The car worked immediately after being transported and installed in the yard. After a short load capacity test and operator training, we put the device into use. It has been operating in three shifts without any problems.
